This old fashioned strawberry pie recipe can be made at any time of the year, even when you can't buy fresh berries or if you don't know what to do with frozen strawberries. Therefore, for those who do not want to deny themselves the pleasure, you can prepare this delicious and easy to make a pie.

COOKING RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

frozen strawberries-300-400 gr.,

premium wheat flour-1 Cup,

chicken egg-3 PCs. (it is best to use premium or farm eggs),

sugar-1 Cup,

butter-50 gr.,

baking powder for the dough-1 bag,

sunflower oil for greasing the baking dish,

semolina-1 teaspoon.

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP ONE

Defrost the strawberries (you can do this either in the microwave or naturally if you have enough time for this).

STEP TWO

In a deep bowl, pour the eggs, melted butter, and sugar. Beat thoroughly

STEP THREE

Pour the sifted flour and baking powder into the whipped mixture.

STEP FOUR

Once again carefully beat all the products together until you get the consistency of thick sour cream.

STEP FIVE

Grease the baking dish with a small amount of butter.

STEP SIX

Top lightly with semolina or flour.

STEP SEVEN

Pour the dough into the mold (1/2 of the total amount).

STEP EIGHT

Layout the thawed strawberries.
STEP NINE

Put some sugar on top of the berries.

STEP TEN

Pour the rest of the dough over the filling.

STEP ELEVEN

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

STEP TWELVE

Place the form with the future cake in it and bake for 30-40 minutes. You can determine the readiness of the pie by its appearance: it will turn brown on top and slightly increase in size.
